The remote is magnetic and will attach to most metal surfaces, including the provided mounting pole.
The mounting pole (similar to a riser on a light stand) extends from 11.8 to 31.5" and has a desk clamp at its base that fastens to items up to 1.96" thick. The pole is topped by a ball head with a 360° range that mounts on one of the 1/4"-20 female threads on the body of the panel.
