The Ulanzi MA39 MagLock Suction Cup Phone Mount is designed for creators and everyday smartphone users who need a quick way to position a phone without carrying a conventional tripod.

Its 18 washable silicone suction cups grip clean, smooth surfaces such as glass, mirrors and tiles, while the magnetic base gives you another way to attach the mount to suitable metal surfaces. Fold it into stand mode and it also works as a compact desktop phone holder.

The phone itself attaches magnetically, so compatible MagSafe devices can snap straight into place. Phones without MagSafe can still be used with a magnetic case or the supplied magnetic ring. The adjustable joint lets you switch between portrait and landscape orientation and fine-tune the viewing or filming angle.

We would recommend the MA39 to people who frequently film or view content in places where a normal tripod is awkward: windows, mirrors, tiled surfaces, laptops, fridges or other suitable metal surfaces.

Its best feature is flexibility rather than maximum holding power. It is light enough to keep in a bag and can switch quickly between suction, magnetic and desktop use.

If you specifically need a phone mount for a car windscreen or dashboard, especially with vibration and movement, we would choose a stronger vacuum-style mount instead. Ulanzi itself positions the MA39 as a static-use mount and recommends its heavier-duty SK-series mounts for vehicle use.

The silicone base uses 18 individual suction points to spread the holding force across clean, flat surfaces.
