One Asia Festival, Images of Asia

The Images of Asia event will showcase the wonders of the continent through galleries and screenings, both still photography and film.
This event has been created for individuals who are keen to develop their photography and/or videography technical skills, as well as those with a special interest in learning more about Asia and how to use a camera to best express the fascinating cultures, people and festivals around the continent.

The first in 2010, this OneAsia Festival satellite event will feature a number of photo galleries including:

• AWB* - the Asia Without Borders Photography Competition (brought to you by ASIAN Geographic)
• TWB - the Travel Without Borders Photography Competition (brought to you by ASIAN Geographic PASSPORT)
• CYA - the Celebrating the Youth of Asia Photo Competition (brought to you by ASIAN Geographic JUNIOR)
• VOO - the Voice of the Ocean Competition (brought to you by Asian Diver and the Asia Dive Expo)
• TTL - the Through The Lens Underwater Photography Competition (brought to you by Scuba Diver Australasia)

The Images of Asia event is also a platform for leading photographers and videographers to display their portfolio of work and share their expertise with others. So look out for inspiring professional galleries amongst the competition galleries!
Aside from the open-access galleries and video screenings, there will also be exclusive seminars and workshops given by professionals in their field, plus talks from leading photo-journalists. So plan ahead to participate in the various pro-sessions running over the weekend!

The hall includes a large gallery area, screening areas, a main stage for live presentations, product launches, live photo judging and awards ceremonies plus private seminar rooms for exclusive workshops!

70+ companies showcasing the latest products such as; camera brands, lens and filters, related travel accessories, computers/software and more... plus photo and video associations, galleries, publications and training agencies!
