Di866 on Canon 50D soud coming out of the flash

hi,

on sunday when i am using the di866 flash on my 50d, i can hear some sound coming out of the flash, but working okay.

i took out the battery, put back again, unmount the flash and mount the flash again, the sound still persist.

i cannot describe the sound, and when i shake the flash i can hear some rumbling noise.

please help to advise what could be wrong with it.

Usually, there should only be a slight 'buzz' coming from the flash when it's on standby/idle mode.

If the sound is out of the ordinary, we suggest that you contact the Nissin service center and make an appointment.
