    Cannot change custom Avatar

    Hello Admin/Mod,

I was trying to change my Avatar by going to Edit Avatar section and pasting the URL of my Avatar (80x80) picture from my flickr.
But I kept getting an 'Invalid URL' error.

Can I trouble you to advise me on this?

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

It seems your avatar is working and displaying correctly (see screenshot below).

Looks like you may have resolved it on your own, but if you still have any problems with your avatar, do let us know and we will look into it.

    Thanks!

Actually I tried copying and pasting the URL from my flickr photo onto the Avatar box in my User CP but it still keeps giving me Invalid URL error.
I had to upload this Avatar from my computer hard disk.

    Just to let you know.

Oh yes, we are having a bug in the forums software when pulling images from external sites; this should be resolved after we upgrade to the latest version

Thanks for bringing this to our attention!
