Which camera to bring for travelling? Compact Ixus, DSLR 550D or hybrid?
Going for a 2 week trip. Don't really feel like lugging a heavy DSLR but don't like the small point and shoot cameras. Tried a Olympus PEN before and it's pretty good. But I don't own a PEN!!!
Choices choices!

Would choose to bring the DSLR out instead...Dont let the weight bother u, for the sake of knowing u will beable to achieve better shots with it.

Depend on where you're going or who u're going with. If you're going with a baby, carrying so much baby gear, or trekking across some hills or caves, I don't think that the full gear is going to really cut it.

DSLR would always be the best choice! 550D would be great!
