Nissin Di622 with Phottix Atlas will it work?

I've just bought 3 units of Phottix Atlas. I am now looking at the Nissin Di622 flash.
Will this units work together?
The Nissin Website State the Nissin is only for digital camera. And The Phottix Manual stated that the Atlas may not work with Nissin Flash.
I know the Atlas flash hotshoe trigger is only for single pin.

From my hazy memory, I think only the Nikon version of the di622 will work; the canon version of the di622 will not.

Apologies for the late reply.

Currently only the Di622 for Nikon will work as the firmware has been upgraded. The Nissin Di622 for Canon won't work yet as it is still on the old firmware.

too bad i am a canon user.. i guess i would have to wait for the firmware update before i do my purchase. any idea if the manufacturer are on the case with the firmware?

Yes, the Nissin Di866 for Canon and Nissin Di866 for Nikon will work with the Phottix Atlas.

Yes, you can trigger BOTH Canon flash & NIssin Di866 together. Do note that one Atlas can trigger 2 flash one time via the PCsync jack (though one set comes with just one PCsync cable).

Hi, I have a 50D and a Di622(Canon), if I buy a Di866(Canon), will the 866 trigger with the Phottix, and the 622 will optically trigger from the 866? Until we get a firmware update.

Hi,

The 866 will trigger with the Phottix (866 in manual mode). 622 won't trigger as the 622 is triggered by a TTL flash, meaning that a flash that has a pre-flash. Hence flashes in manual mode (such as the 866), will only trigger once and there's no pre-flash and hence the 622 won't trigger.

We will announce the firmware upgrade for 622 once it's available. Currently the 622 mark 2 can be triggered by radio triggers.
