Phottix Geo One battery drain
Would like to ask you abt the Phottix Geo One. How long would it take to drain the batt from the camera if this device is turned on?(both with a one batt and 2 batt battery grip system) Does it have a power saving mode or smth like tt in which i do not have to warm up the device before taking a picture? Also how long is the processing time in between each shot?

Before connecting the Geo one, and without the battery grip, I got about 600 shots with 58% battery left on my D90.
I set the "Auto meter off" under "GPS" on the D90 to "off", and connected the Geo one unit. Looks like battery drain is quite fast.
Went out for about half and hour and took 80 shots. Switched off the camera when I got home, but with the Geo one still attached. About 2 hours and 80 shots later, the battery has 14% left.
So it roughly drains 20% of the EN-EL3e battery every hour.
