Light on weight, Heavy on features!
The most often heard request from users of such flash battery packs is for a smaller and lighter power source. The CD-2X2S is a lithium-polymer based battery pack to power your off-camera flashes. It is easily adaptable to just about any system in the market today with its interchangeable plug system. The rugged aluminium casing protects it from accidental knocks that occur so often during shoots.
Lithium-polymer batteries have a very low self-discharge rate and weight significantly less than their nickel-based counterparts. That means you get a much higher capacity with a battery pack of the same weight. In our internal tests we have found the battery pack last almost 50% longer than the leading nickel-based flash battery pack.

Can it be used on Nissin 866?

Hi,
May i know which battery pack performance is better if compare CD2X2S with Nissin power pack PS300?
Think no reports on the NIssin powerpack first. But the RRP is $450, the CD2X2S @ $359 at the PCShow is a steal!. The CD2X2S is also lighter and more compact.
In terms of true performance, I'm sure both can have fast charging times. We'll have to wait if RDP is coming up with a review!

I'm thinking about the capacity, Nissin is 3200mA,CD2X2S is 1800mA, should Nissin can lasting longer is it?
But Nissin power pack is using NIMH battery, CD2X2S is using lithium battery, will it affect charging? which one can get shorter time? With Nissin power pack can reach 0.7s,can CD2X2S do so?
