Sony Launches "Sony Tablet" S in Singapore!

Sony announced yesterday the market launch of their new "Sony Tablet" S, which delivers a compelling combination of hardware, content, and network with seamless useability for a high-quality, engaging entertainment experience.
The "Sony Tablet" S comes preinstalled with Android 3.2, and is equipped with the powerful NVIDIA Tegra 2 mobile processor. Together with it's 9.4" LED-backlit IPS screen and WiFi compatibility, users can enjoy web-browsing and entertainment in a responsive and lightweight (589g) package.

The "Sony Tablet" S' contoured shape is designed for easy hand-holdeability, and at 9.4" is a comfortable size to hold in hand. This is especially important in light of the "Sony Tablet" S' capabilities as a universal remote: with its DLNA certification, it works seamlessly with other DLNA-enabled Sony devices, and can even learn commands from other IR-based remote control products, including non-Sony brand devices. Even more compelling is the "Sony Tablet" S' ability to 'throw' video and music to DLNA-compatible TVs, allowing you to view content on a larger screen and system with no wires and no fuss. On top of all these capabilities, the "Sony Tablet" S is the first PlayStation Certified tablet, able to play classic PlayStation Certified releases anytime, anywhere, along with the thousands of games available on the Android Market.

The "Sony Tablet" S launches as part of a full system of accessories, including a Cradle, Keyboard, and Cases and Covers. allowing users to adapt their tablets to their own styles.
The "Sony Tablet" S is available in two capacities, 16GB and 32GB; it is now available for pre-order for $668 (16GB) or $798 (32GB).
