How to set the DB36 (30L)

Cabinets with battery operated LCD digital hygrometer and low power consumption T.E. cooling refrigerated semiconductor crystal dehumidifier.

Setting by turning the knob clockwise or anti-clockwise, clockwise toward point C represent stronger moisture absorbing estimate reading of humidity level at 25-35%. Green LED light on the knob turn brighter and dimmer when knob is turned clockwise/anticlockwise.

Anti-clockwise towards point A represents weaker moisture absorbing, estimated humidity reading at 50-70%.

Constant evaporating moisture at all set point, low power consumption, no noise, sound or heat. All estimate humidity reading is based on a 60litres cabinet.

For a new cabinet, monitoring needs to be done at the initial stage.

Hi,

For the dry cabinet to be functioning, does the LED lights have to be on? Cos I have the lights on for the 1st day I bought it (DB36).

But after 2nd day, I adjusted the knob and the lights went off. I tried turning the knob clockwise & anti clockwise (max & min) but there was still no lights. The humidity levels increased even when I kept the door shut.

Btw, I have check the power cord and power outlet, it seems to b ok.

Is it faulty?

The Red LED should be usually on. The green light will come on when the humidity it set to low.

Do check the power cord again, these are common power cords found with computers / printers and other devices. Do unplug and plug in again onto the back of your cabinet to try again and let us know the outcome.

Thanks for the tip. Tried but still e same outcome..

Emailed the Digihub cust svs (service@digihub.com.sg)and it seems to be power surge which cause the safety chip to shut down the dehumidification.

Solution: take out the dehumidification unit and bring that unit to their office at Tagore Lane (upp thomson rd) & they will replace the dehumidification unit on the spot.

Gd thing is tat this product has 5yr warranty. However, kinda let down by the product's reliability- Broke down days after purchase.
