Celebrate NDP 2011 with RDP and take part in our Fireworks Photography Competition!

With Sirui tripods worth up to $489 up for grabs, head out with your cameras and tripods this National Day season to capture the best fireworks
photos you can.


To enter the contest:

1. Sign up for a Red Dot Photo forum account (if you don't yet have one)
2. Submit your photo as a reply to this thread
3. That's it!

Upon submission, we will post your photo on our Facebook page. The number of Facebook 'likes' each photo gets will influence the final decision, so look out for your photo and get your friends to like it!

The deadline for submission is Sunday, 14th August 2011, 2359hrs.

Rules & Regulations:

1. The Celebrate NDP With RDP! Fireworks Photography Competition is open to entrants of all skill levels.
2. All participants agree to grant Red Dot Photo a license to reproduce and publish winning entries. All copyright remains vested in the particpants.
3. Each submitted photograph, in its entirety, must be a single work of original material taken by the contest entrant. Any discrepancy in entrant's particulars may lead to disqualification at the discretion of the organiser.
4. Submissions must be:
   - JPEG format
   - Recommended 1200px on the long edge
5. Every contestant may submit only one entry
6. Staff and judges are not responsible for loss or any damage to photographic submissions.

1st Prize: Sirui N2204 Carbon Fibre Tripod + K20X Ballhead worth $489!


The Sirui N2204 tripod is a 4-section carbon-fibre tripod with detachable monopod leg. A lightweight 1.3kg, it has a loading capacity of 15kg. It is an excellent all-round tripod with a good balance of quality, functionality, and price. The K20X ballhead is a professional-grade ballhead with an Arca-Swiss type quick-release. It has a 360-degree panel integrated into the base to enable panoramic or continuous shooting. The K20X ballhead is capable of supporting up to 25kg.

3rd Prize: Sirui T1005X Aluminium Tripod + G10 Ballhead worth $169!


The T1005X tripod is the lightest and most compact aluminium tripod in Sirui's product lineup. It has a 5-section, easy-folding design. Weighing only 1kg, it is very light for a aluminium tripod, yet supports up to 10kg of weight. The G10 ballhead is a professional-grade ballhead with an Arca-Swiss type quick-release.
