Red Dot Photo Sponsored Professional Consultancy Opens!
Hi everyone!
Red Dot Photo Forums is launching a new series of sponsored professional consultancy services where we invited industry professionals in various sectors to assist our members in the specialized industry related questions they may occasional have.
We are honoured to kick start this project and obtain sponsorship from a practicing legal professional to assist our members in answering questions on legal issues relating to photography!
Our sponsored legal professional is in active legal practice specializing in intellectual property issues and is therefore in an excellent position to assist our members in a wide range of intellectual property and other issues relating to photography, such as model releases, photography in public places, copyright protection and other non-IP related legal issues.
If you have any legal questions relating to photography issues, feel free to ask in this forum and our sponsored legal professional will try to answer them as soon as practicable. As our sponsored legal professional is a busy working person, do bear with us if your question does not get an immediate response.
Members are also encouraged join in the discussion so as to promote a greater range of ideas and views!
We caution that in the nature of an internet forum, such support services cannot be treated as legal advice nor should be treated as a substitute for actual legal advice.
Members are encouraged to obtain independent legal advice from their lawyers where necessary.
Any views provided by our sponsored legal professional are independent views and should not be treated as views of Red Dot Photo Forums.
We will progressively extend this area of sponsored professional consultancy into other areas of industry in the future, and are currently exploring tie-ups with medical professionals financial professionals, home renovation designers, full time photographers etc
We hope that the series of sponsored professional consultancy would prove useful to our members!
