Olympus E-P3, E-PL3, E-PM1 launch on 30th June in Singapore

The rumours are pretty much confirmed! The world will be treated with THREE new cameras from Olympus on the 30th June with the launch of replacement models of the E-P and E-PL series with the E-P3, E-PL3 and a new category 'PEN mini', with the E-PM1. The E-PL3 follows 6 months after the successful launch of the Olympus E-PL2.
Touch screen design
Olympus E-P3, E-PL3 and E-PM1 are all likely to follow Panasonic's GF2 key feature with touch screen features with touch-screen focus and shutter, enlargement, photo-reviewing akin to Apple's Iphone and Ipad.
New Lenses
Olympus will likely to be launching two new Four-thirds compatible lenses: 12mm f/2.0 and 45mm f/1.8 lenses

The Olympus E-P series was meant to be a classic looking camera, with metal mounts and appeal to serious photographers looking to control majority of camera functions at their fingertips, and hence the camera dial found on E-P1 and E-P2. The E-PL series was usually followed in a few months after the E-P launch with 'reduced' features, and more budget features. Panasonic recently announced the Lumix GF3, just months after the Panasonic Lumix GF3. The GF3 features fewer functions than the GF2, with a smaller frame and weight. The Olympus PEN E-PM1 seems to go head to head with the Panasonic GF3
