Panasonic GF3 - rumours or truth?

There have been rumours on the web pointing out the possbility of a new addition to the Panasonic Lumix range: the Lumix GF3 (www.43rumours.com). This rumour spread after a promotional video was released online, which was however pulled soon after. It is expected to be released within the next few months, with no concrete details released yet.

Panasonic seems to have worked very hard to reduce the size of the new Lumix model, following the footsteps of companies producing mirrorless compacts.

The Panasonic Lumix GF3 seems to have 16 megapixels, be controlled via touch screen, and with no hotshoe for external flash units. Additional details will hopefully be released soon, to the excitement of Panasonic fans worldwide!

Panasonic GF3 looks pretty real to me. Maybe pre-production set. Looks smaller than the GF2, wonder why the release a successor so quickly after the GF2.
