Recharge NiZn batteries versus Battizer or PowerGenix

Has anyone tried the Recharge batteries? http://recharge.sg/. Seems like the PowerGenix which were in the market previously. I wonder if they work as well as the PowerGenix.

The charger they have is really expensive though at $139.
AA is at $7 each which is $28 for a pack of 4AA!!

While the online youtube videos have shown that 1.6Vs can quickly recharge flashes/speedlights, anyone know if there're long term effects on the flash/circuits? Nissin has recently announced that they do not recommend 1.6V batteries on their flashes. http://www.reddotphoto.com.sg/forums...NiZn-batteries.

I wonder if the major manufacturers are going to release any news about this.
