where exactly is this place? Image looks pretty abstract and not sure what is the focus. focus is just before the flower, and quite an interesting 'flare' or something towards the right of pictures that seems to project upwards?

Actually was trying to defocus the image a bit... It was taken outside Victoria Concert Hall. The flower was p[laced on the hedge of the fountain. The flare was created by placing a flash behind the subject. Was trying to create a feeling of loneliness....

Nice concept, but I feel the flower is a little too washed out. Not sure if that was intended! May look nice with a more punchy pink!

Noted. Will try again in the near future! Although I don't really know how the settings shd be like at this point... Haha

How about bumping up the saturation and curves a little?
