    [5D2 VID] Drinking Glass

Was bored so I tried doing something different. Shot in 20 minutes without any video movement related gear. No slider, track, fluid head. Just a stills tripod sliding and jerking on my marble floor!

I definitely need a lot of practice and maybe some more gear, but I quite like how it turned out!

    Enjoy:

Lens mug was gifted to me by a couple of my friends. Thanks ya'll! Unfortunately, it was leaking, I returned it for another and that one was rusted. Got the refund so I'm not complaining (:

Shot on a Canon EOS 5D Mark II
    Lenses: Nikon 35-70 f/3.3 - 4.5 & Canon 24-70 f/2.8L
Fill light from a CN-126 (I really need a minus-green gel for this guy)

not too sure what you're trying to do?

Some nice bokeh sliding around..the last scene was probably the best, perhaps some storyline will help? i can imagine it ending with some tag line...or something

There is no storyline or thought about what I want viewers to think at all. This is a test of the movement I want and of DOF for objects. This clip was made to show the mug to some friends who chipped in for my bday present (:

And yes indeed, the ending take was the best to me as well.

This is one of those "do, just because I can" videos that I like and have seen many other people do.
