Hi, newbie here. Where can we get colour gel for Nissin di622? Also how do we attach it?

you can get CTO, Colour gel sets from various retail and online shops.

Attachment is usually via velcro on the sides of the gel to the sides of the flash head of your Nissin Di622

How can then one use the Lambency Flash diffuser coupled with the CTO Colour gel? Will everything still fit? Or is it better to use the orange dome of the Lambency Flash diffuser?

If the colour gel piece covers the entire flash head, you won't need to use the orange dome of the Lambency (unless you want double strength orange!).

You probably would only use one or the other, but can also mix and match according to your requirements as there is no hard and fast rule for colour gel correction! The ambient lighting also plays a huge part!
