Standing tall among the torrent of camera releases at CES 2012 is Fujifilm’s latest member of their X series cameras — the X Pro 1. True to the X-series’ distinctive flavour, the X Pro 1 is built like to feel and look like a mechanical rangefinder and outperforms most cameras that share its small form factor.
What’s new is the introduction of the X-mount lenses — the X Pro 1 being the first interchangeable lens digital camera that carries this proprietary system. Fujifilm’s interchangeable lens systems tended to be borrowed, as in the case of their Sx Pro systems that borrowed Nikon’s hardware to house their Super CCD sensors.
New Features:
- New CMOS sensor called X-TransTM CMOSTM
- New EXR Processor Pro
- Three Fujinon dedicated XF
- FUJIFILM Attack "X-Mount"
- Hybrid Multi Viewfinder
- Film Simulation Mode Advanced
