
Sebastian Vettel leads Red Bull Racing to their first victory in the formula 1 season of 2010. Plagued by performances issues of the Adrian Newey-designed car in the last 2 races despite grabbing pole positions. In this third race of the 2010 calender, Mark Webber secured his second pole of his career in a wet and wild qualifying which saw the top teams Mclaren and Ferrari failing to quality for the session one.

Vettel tucked himself behind Webber at the go ahead, and diving on the inside line at Turn 1, and sealed the fate of the race with an awesome display of pace. Baring any race, the RBR duo was set for a one-two finish on the podium. The championship contenders of McLaren and Ferrari were hoping for similar wet condition of qualifying which sometimes turn races into lotteries.

7-time world champion Michael Schumacher was at a 'home race' as part of the Mercedes Petronas team. Wildly popular with plenty of Petronas and Schumacher fans around, Schumacher could not make up for his average qualifying position and was out-qualified again by team-mate Nico Rosberg. Schumacher was running in the points when a wheel nut issued force him to retire from race at around two-thirds distance.
