The launch of the LEICA Cameras and Systems, namely the M9, S2, X1, the Pinmaster and the Monovid in September 09th 2009, has developed into a great success for LEICA Camera AG, Germany. The worldwide order situation has exceeded LEICA’s expectations. A perfect example is the LEICA M9 - the order volume is 40 percent above the original forecast!

Whilst it’s a boon to see the graphical chart skyrockets, on the other hand, the production is basically working round-the-clock since the introduction of these new models. LEICA Camera AG is doing all that is possible to reduce the backorders, which are increasing daily, in order to shorten the delivery times for our customers worldwide.

The final version of the Phottix Strato 4-in-1 Trigger. It fires flashes and studio strobes and works as a remote shutter release. What more can you ask for?

The Strato debuted at PMA 2010 – since then it’s gone through a redesign and thorough testing. We’re photographers too – we don’t want to sell products that don’t perform.

In brief – the Phottix Strato is a 4-channel, 2.4 GHz system for triggering flashes and cameras. It triggers at ranges past 100 meters and can sync at speeds up to 1/250 sec. What sets the Strato apart?

Singapore, 16 June 2010 – The PC Show, Singapore’s longest running IT and consumer electronics show, closed last Sunday with an estimated 950,000 visitors and generated over $51.6 million in sales for exhibitors.

The show, which was celebrating its 20th year in Singapore, ran from June 10 to 13 at Suntec Singapore and showcased the latest in IT gadgets and consumer electronics.

More than 600 local and international exhibitors showed off their products on four floors, with many businesses going all out to woo buyers with irresistible promotions that included attractive discounts, bundling packages, gifts with purchase and lucky draws.

Thanks to Graying, Red Dot Photo had the opportunity to attend a special sneak media preview free of the usual crowds. In addition, Red Dot Photo was pleased to have attended the PC Show 2010 as both exhibitor and participant.
